To travel in between islands can take up about 10 - 30 minutes. If you are up to island hopping, there's only a few locations to go. Suggest that you get a resort near Pantai Cenang cos the jetty's there to depart to other islands. There's a few tour operators who quote reasonable rates for travel between islands. Island hopping should costs only about RM30-RM50 per person if you are doing minimal activities. It costs more if you are a single person. To rent a boat, they might charge you RM100 a day plus drive.

Traveling to Long Beach?
I am going to Long Beach next week it will be me and my boyfriend's first time going. So we wanted to know what sites can my boyfriend and I check out at Long Beach?

go to shoreline village, take a walk to the lighthouse. visit queen Mary. there is a nice view from over there to downtown. Go to Signal Hill. it is about 15 minute drive from downtown Long Beach. Take Cherry ave. to Skyline dr. (if i am not mistaken) and drive up to the hill. there is a nice park on top and a gorgeous view of the whole long beach, it's nice at sunset. i hope u enjoy ur trip :)

Racism/Discrimination Against Muslims In Long Beach, California?
Well I would like to since I'm very curious about this.. I would like to travel to Long Beach, California but would like to know if there are really close minded people, who are against Muslims in Long Beach? any opinions on that? As i heard there are not but would like to know from people who live in this city.. Theo just because i ask a question doesn't mean I'm scared I would just wanna know.

there is racial discrimination about just about everyone everywhere...so my guess is yes. Besides, UR pretty hot, im sure they'll overlook ur religion/race/ whatever u prefer to address it :P

About what's the cheapest way to travel from Hermosa Beach to Hollywood

What's the cheapest way to travel from Hermosa Beach to Hollywood?
I need to check out of one hostel and be at the next one (USA Hostels Hollywood) that evening. Any tips on the cheapest way to travel? How long could I expect the trip to take? Thanks in advance. I'm talking the fastest way for the cheapest price, so no, not walking!

take bay cities or 232 to the city bus center then take metro 42 to overhill and la brea then transfer to the 212 bus into Hollywood a roundabout way would be to take green line to blue line then the redline to Hollywood

Well ... unfortunately, public transportation is not what it should be in LA. The route that the other person gives you is correct, but 3 buses? Or one bus and 3 trains? Man ... that's going to be crazy! And if you have luggage? I ride the 232 a lot and it is almost always standing room only. Maybe you should try one of the shuttles and just get a price from them. To pick you up at your door and drop you off at your door and deal with your luggage, it might be worth the extra cost. Try Prime Time Shuttle. They are local here.

How long will it take to get from Long Beach to the six flags magic mountain theme park?
I am on holiday in L.A in october staying in Long Beach and I wanted to go to the six flags magic mountain theme park and i was just wondering how far it was from where i'm staying and how would I get there without car hire?? Is it also a place I would enjoy visiting by myself as I am now travelling to L.a alone?

No car? This is one time you'll really want one. It's 60 miles, and will take 1-3 hours, depending on route and traffic. If you have a car, you just take the 710 freeway north to the 5 north, and exit Magic Mountain Parkway. If you take public transit, it's a lot longer. You'll need to take the Blue Line train north to the 7th Street/Metro Station (end of the line). Then transfer to the Red Line subway, and take that north to the North Hollywood terminus. Then take Santa Clarita Transit bus 757 north to McBean Transit Center. Finally, take SCT bus 3 or 7 to Six Flags Magic Mountain. http://www.santaclaritatransit.com/Index.aspx?page=67. Total travel time at least 2 hours.

from Long beach take the blue line (pay $1.25) take to the last stop then take the Red line to union staton(pay anothr $1.25) then take metrolink to newhall station then any Santa Clarita bus going to transit center then transfer again to SCT 3 or 7 to the park if you buy a round trip metrolink ticket your metrolink ticket will be vaild for all the bus connections includinh on the return back to long beach
